Report of the educational event on "National education-the future of the nation"
On February 19, 2025, 1st-year PhD students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies held an educational event "National Education-the future of the nation", organized within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals program.
The organizers of the educational event: 1st year PhD students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al Farabi Kazakh National University, Professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences Berdibayeva S. and Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Management of Education Kudaibergenova A.
The educational event was attended by the head of the Department of Chinese Studies, PhD, Associate Professor Kerimbaev E., PhD students and master students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
The main purpose of the educational event is to discuss modern problems of national education of youth, explain its impact on the future of the nation and analyze the need to modernize national values.
During the educational event, issues of national education of students were widely discussed. National education is a system of education and upbringing based on the traditions and culture of the nation, passed on to the younger generation. National education is aimed not only at shaping a person's personality, but also at preserving and developing the common spiritual and cultural values of the nation.
In order to reveal this issue in more detail, the reports of Karakulova Layla and Kaliolla Gulzhanar "Ways of educating youth in the spirit of national values" were heard. The report discussed the concept of national education, its role in the spiritual development of youth, and its impact on preserving the historical culture of the nation. It was especially about passing on to the younger generation the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, their native language. The issues of forming the national spirit of youth, instilling in them love for their culture, as well as strengthening their civic position in the social environment were also discussed.
In the final part of the seminar, there was a discussion about the modernization of national values and ways to adapt them to the demands of the time. The need to find ways to preserve national traditions and values in accordance with the technological and social changes of our time was noted.
