Artificial Intelligence at the Intersection of Science and Genetics

25 march, 2025

On March 25, 2025, a curator hour was held at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, organized by 1st-year doctoral students in the specialty "Genetics" – M. Sh. Ermekova and A. K. Imanbay, together with 3rd-year students of the "Biotechnology" (6B05103) program, on the topic: "Artificial Intelligence at the Intersection of Science and Genetics."

The goal of the curator hour was to explain to students how science and technology are interconnected and influence each other, as well as to inspire them to conduct innovative research and developments in these fields in the future.

This curator hour provided an excellent opportunity for young scientists and future specialists to exchange experiences and gain insight into the impact of new technologies on our lives. Currently, the integration of artificial intelligence and genetics holds great potential for changes in our lives. Students were informed about the application of AI technologies in genetics, new methods of DNA research using AI, and the opportunities that will emerge in the future.
