A discussion platform on the topic “Tuberculosis Prevention”

On March 28, 2025, the Department of Biotechnology at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology hosted a discussion platform on the topic “Tuberculosis Prevention” as part of the “Culture of a Healthy Lifestyle” project, in accordance with SDG 3 (Target 3.3): “Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.” Purpose of the Event: To raise students’ awareness of the importance of tuberculosis prevention, expand their knowledge about the disease, its transmission routes, symptoms, and prevention measures, as well as to develop critical thinking through discussions on relevant issues related to tuberculosis and its impact on society. During the discussion, fourth-year students presented their reports and PowerPoint presentations, covering various aspects of tuberculosis prevention. Topics included the epidemiological situation, mechanisms of disease transmission, risk factors, modern diagnostic methods, and treatment approaches.
