Results of the Annual Intellectual Competition “HYDROINTELLIGENT V”
On April 2, 2025, within the framework of SDGs 4 and 6, the 5th Annual Intellectual Competition "HYDROINTELLIGENT" was held at the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, dedicated to World Water Day.
The competition, initiated by PhD in Geography, Associate Professor A.K. Musina, has been held for five years and is aimed at developing the professional knowledge and intellectual abilities of students of the EP "6B05203 Hydrology". This year, the competition was organized by PhD, Associate Professor A. Musina, Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of the Department for Academic, Methodological, and Educational Work Zh. Zhanabaeva, Lecturer and Senior Faculty Advisor A. Alimbay, Senior Lecturer and 2nd-Year Advisor A. Abdullayeva, as well as doctoral and master's students.
Participants engaged in various intellectual challenges covering hydrological processes, water resources, and climate change adaptation. The winners were awarded unique prizes, and among the spectators, author's tours to picturesque locations in the Almaty region were raffled.
The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology expresses gratitude to all organizers, participants, and partners and looks forward to the continued development of the competition, promoting hydrology and green technology among students.
