The XVI International Scientific Conference "Solid State Physics" was held at EKTU

On April 3–4, 2025, the XVI International Scientific Conference "Solid State Physics" was held at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University. The conference was dedicated to the memory of Professor Sergey Viktorovich Plotnikov.

The main theme of the conference was the analysis of fundamental and applied research in the field of solid state physics, along with the presentation of scientific discoveries and achievements in this area.

The event was attended by Professor of the Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology and Computer Physics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.S. Ramazanov; Associate Professors of the same department M.K. Dosbolayev and S.A. Orazbayev; and Acting Associate Professor A.U. Utegenov. During the conference, the scientists exchanged views on relevant topics such as new materials, their physico-mechanical properties, structural-phase transformations, and innovative technologies. Special attention was also given to strengthening scientific and interdisciplinary cooperation.
