Top Research Presentations by Young Scientists: Results of Section Winners at the “Farabi Álemi” Conference. SDG 4 and SDG 9

On April 4, 2025, the Faculty of Physics and Technology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the final presentations of section winners within the framework of the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Researchers "Farabi Álemi". The event brought together participants from across all academic programs of the faculty – from theoretical physics to energy, metrology, and nanotechnology.

The section winners' presentations addressed a wide range of current scientific challenges and were closely aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 4 – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all;
  • SDG 9 – Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation.

    Dinara Turakova – 2nd-year Master’s student, “Standardization and Certification”
  • Section 8. Plasma Physics and Nanotechnology
    Zhanserik Ongaybergenov – 3rd-year Bachelor’s student, “Physics and Nanotechnology”
  • Section 9. Educational Technologies in Physics
    Medina Beimbetova – 2nd-year Master’s student, “Physics”

According to the jury's decision, the following awards were granted:
