Dina Karabalayeva, a 3rd-year doctoral student majoring in 8D05108 - Geobotany, has been named the winner of the “KazNU Best Young Scientist - 2025” competition. On the eve of Science Day, Member of the Board - Rector Zh.K. Tuimebayev presented the winners of the competition with diplomas and certificates worth 100,000 tenge.
Dina Karabalayeva successfully completed a scientific internship at Nigde Omer Halisdemir University in the Turkey as part of the “500 Scientists” program under Bolashak. She is a Bolashak scholarship holder. Dina is the author of more than 20 scientific publications, 7 of which have been published in international journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Her Hirsch Index is 2. Every year, she enhances her qualifications at leading universities and research institutes around the world.
Dina Karabalayeva has also participated in the implementation of more than 3 scientific projects funded through grant and targeted funding programs.
