The literary evening was attended by scholars such as Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Doctor of Philology, Professor B.N.Dzhubatova, director of the AlmatyCultural Mission of Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Majid Kamrani, a well-known scientist-orientalist Utegen Kumisbaev, Professor of Shahid Beheshti University Amir Chinari, a senior researcher at the Institute of Literature and Art, Doctor of Philology, professor A.Ismakova. Questions of existing ties of Kazakh and Persian literature, the place of Rumi's legacy in world literature, as well as the impact of Mulavi's Masnavi on the Kazakh literature were discussed.
Kazakh poets T.Tashenov, D.Baytursynov, A.Shegebay, A.Maukarauly andS.Kamshyger spoke about the importance of Mulavi's heritage in the spiritual education of humanity. At the end of the poetic evening students of 3 course of Iranian Studies department read excerpts from the works of Rumi. The guests pointed out the high value of such poetic meetings and expressed their desire to continue their organizations in the future.
