Today, the Higher School of Economics and Business at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a guest lecture by Saida Khalil, a researcher and Head of the Bloomberg Financial Laboratory, Lecturer at the Turkic World of Economics Faculty, and Deputy Chair of the Women Researchers Council at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).

In her presentation titled "Strategic Pathways to Circular Economy in Developing Countries: The Case of Azerbaijan", Saida Khalil shared valuable insights into how developing nations can adopt and implement circular economy models to ensure sustainable growth. She discussed the challenges and opportunities faced by Azerbaijan in this transformation and highlighted strategic approaches involving innovation, policy reform, and education.

The lecture drew keen interest from faculty members and students, who actively participated in the Q&A session that followed. The event contributed to broadening academic dialogue on sustainability and economic development in the context of global environmental challenges.
