Congratulating Men on the Day of the Defender of the Fatherland at the Faculty of Physics and Technology. SDG 6

On May 7, the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a congratulatory event for male department heads and directors of research institutes in honor of the national holiday – the Day of the Defender of the Fatherland. This day is not only a symbol of valor and honor, but also an important occasion to express gratitude to those who contribute significantly to the development of science, education, and technological progress.

The faculty administration, colleagues, and students warmly congratulated the respected scientists and leaders, wishing them strong health, new scientific achievements, and success in training the next generation of researchers.

The ongoing work at the faculty directly contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular:

• SDG 5 "Gender Equality" – by fostering an environment where both men and women have equal opportunities to pursue careers in science.

Such initiatives strengthen corporate culture, promote the continuity of scientific schools, and help create a positive atmosphere of respect and collaboration within the faculty.
