
Zharkyn Galimov, First Deputy Head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Almaty, delivered a special lecture on "Law and Order" at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The event was attended by the university's leadership, former Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alik Shpekbayev, academic staff and students.
During the lecture, the speaker elaborated on the negative impact of corruption on society. He emphasized that this phenomenon hinders the socio-economic development of the country, infringes on the rights and freedoms of citizens. In addition, the representative of the agency shared his thoughts on ways to prevent corruption, legal mechanisms and reforms implemented at the state level. The speaker also explained in detail to the audience the compliance with the requirements of anti-corruption legislation.
The lecture was held in an interactive format, the students asked their questions and received specific and useful answers. It was an important step aimed at improving legal literacy among young people, forming the principles of justice and honesty.
