Developing cooperation with Chinese colleagues

A delegation of the Department of Commerce of Linyi City (China) paid a working visit to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where they met with the leadership of the educational institution.

The delegation was headed by the General Director of the International Exhibition Company Linshang Co.,Ltd. Shandong by Li Zhenjue.

The parties comprehensively discussed the current state and prospects for the development of relations between KazNU and Chinese universities, paying special attention to strengthening partnership, deepening ties in the field of education and science. 

Margulan Ibraimov, Member of the Board, Vice–Rector for Research and Innovation, met the honored guests and introduced them to the scientific infrastructure of KazNU.

Acting Vice Rector Margulan Ibraimov noted that KazNU's partnerships with Chinese universities are developing in a new direction today.

In turn, Li Zhenjue thanked for the attention and expressed his willingness to step up cooperation with the university in the field of science.

The Chinese colleagues visited the Earth's Remote Sensing Center, the Supercomputer Center, the Farabi HUB and other scientific infrastructure of the university and exchanged experiences with scientists.

The working visit of the delegation will continue tomorrow, the parties will discuss the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of information technology, artificial intelligence, new scientific developments, and will also visit an exhibition of startup projects.
