As part of the visit of a scientific delegation from the Shenyang Institute of Automation (China) to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the exhibition pavilion of the Faculty of Physics and Technology — “Laboratory of Modern Applied Physics and High Technologies” — was presented at the university’s Farabi HUB innovation center.

The guests — Professor Yifeng Song (Xining, Qinghai), Associate Professor Yong Chang (Xuyuan, Liaoning), and Engineer Chen Liang (Fushun, Liaoning) — were introduced to the faculty's integrated research and educational ecosystem in the fields of applied physics and nanotechnology.

Professor Yifeng Song noted the high level of technical equipment in the laboratory and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening international cooperation and training the next generation of engineering professionals.

Particular attention was given to the laboratory’s contribution to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:

  • SDG 9 – fostering sustainable industrialization and innovation,
  • SDG 17 – enhancing international partnerships in science and education.

The Faculty of Physics and Technology of KazNU continues to cultivate an open innovation environment that not only supports the implementation of advanced technologies but also promotes global scientific dialogue and strengthens the university’s role in the international research and education landscape.
