Visit of the German delegation to the KazNU

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University received a delegation from the German Research Foundation Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) headed by Jorn Achterberg, Director of International Cooperation at DFG.

Welcoming his colleagues, Acting Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at KazNU Margulan Ibraimov spoke in detail about the university's activities, its scientific achievements and initiatives aimed at developing the academic environment. He stressed the importance of international cooperation to improve the quality of education and scientific research.

It was noted that KazNU cooperates with 620 universities and institutes around the world and implements joint projects in scientific laboratories and institutes. During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation, including opportunities for exchanging experience in the field of scientific research and academic mobility.

The German delegation expressed interest in the programs offered by KazNU for students and teachers aimed at developing international cooperation and knowledge exchange.
