Integration of related fields of science

The IV International Scientific and Practical conference "Integration of Sciences: Biophysics, Biomedicine, and Neuroscience" was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. It aims to create an interdisciplinary discussion platform to enhance the integration of related fields of science in Kazakhstan.

Foreign and domestic scientists, biologists, doctors, professors, teachers and students took part in its work. Margulan Ibraimov, Acting Vice-rector for Research and Innovation at KazNU, addressed the participants of the conference with a welcoming speech. He noted the special role of the integration of sciences, through which humanity is moving forward, emphasizing that it is the interdisciplinary approach that makes it possible to find effective solutions to complex problems of our time and contributes to scientific progress. Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of KazNU, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Meruert Kurmanbayeva, and Head of the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Professor Almira Kustubayeva also delivered introductory speeches.

During the conference, the participants discussed theoretical and applied problems facing Kazakh science in the field of biophysics, biomedicine and neuroscience, and also heard reports. Biologists and oncologists from Shenzhen Xingzhi University Xu and Baohua Liu presented a presentation on the topic "Ufomylation regulates genome homeostasis". Sultan Tuleukhanov, Professor of the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience at KazNU, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, made a presentation on "Chronobiology: fundamental and Applied aspects". Director of the Scientific Research Center of Vascular Pathology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Oralbai Darmenov spoke about the preliminary results of direct exposure to atherosclerotic plaques of the artery with lipolytic drugs.

The conference participants exchanged best practices and innovative ideas. According to Professor Almira Kustubayeva, close collaboration between foreign and domestic participants of the event will allow us to outline new ways of uniting scientists from different fields. She stressed that this will accelerate the progressive development of integrative sciences in the context of interdisciplinary interaction and international cooperation.

At the end of the conference, the participants expressed hope for further cooperation and joint work on solving urgent problems in the field of biophysics, biomedicine and neuroscience, which will be an important contribution to the development of science.
