
A lecture by Dr. Szymon Kardas on "New approaches to Energy Security in the European Union" was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Szymon Kardas is a Doctor of Political Science (2010), researcher and associate professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw (Poland).
During the lecture, Szymon Kardas told the students of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies about the current problems in the framework of energy security faced by the countries of the European Union after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. He also outlined possible solutions to ensure energy security in the EU.
During the lecture by Dr. Szymon Kardas, students asked questions about the current policy of the EU countries in the field of ensuring energy security in the region and individual countries, the impact of the war in Ukraine on modern EU policy, and others.
After the lecture, Szymon Kardas also answered additional questions regarding the opportunities for students to study at the University of Warsaw as part of academic mobility and enroll in the university's Master's program.
