A trip that paved the way for new research
During this visit, doctoral students conducted research in such relevant areas as the study of safety standards in the oil and gas industry, the analysis of the possibilities of using Geoinformation systems (GIS), the consideration of strategies for the Prevention of industrial accidents.
The oil and gas industry is one of the most important sectors of the world economy. In this area, the issues of ensuring environmental safety, preventing industrial accidents and optimizing technological processes remain relevant.
This visit provided an opportunity for doctoral students to collect the data necessary for their scientific research and to gain a deeper understanding of production processes. The research of doctoral student Aidana Isataeva on the topic of the dissertation is focused on safety standards in production facilities, assessment of working conditions and methods of Disaster Prevention. The enterprise "Atyrau oil refinery" LLP gave the doctoral student the opportunity to get acquainted with valuable materials on industrial safety documents, disaster prevention strategies and risk assessment methods. In addition, measures to comply with and modernize safety standards in production processes were demonstrated.

"Dossormunaigas" company presented doctoral student Nurbolat Kalmanbay with his work in the field of professional risks, industrial safety measures and environmental monitoring in the field of oil production. Dossormunaygas also provided the doctoral student with a number of important research materials on the organization of production processes, improving safety systems and reducing the impact on the environment.
Currently, digital technologies are widely used to assess and prevent threats in the oil and gas industry. Doctoral students are studying new methods of environmental monitoring and assessment of industrial safety using GIS technologies in their scientific work.
This trip gave a great impetus to the research of doctoral students and opened the way to combine them with experience. In the future, joint projects will be implemented to further improve research work, introduce new technologies and improve safety standards.
For our part, we express our gratitude to the management and employees of Dossormunaigas and Atyrau oil refinery LLP for the opportunity to conduct research in real production conditions.
