Nukus Faculty Members Explore the Scenic Sights of Almaty

As part of the ongoing cooperation between KazNU and academic institutions in Uzbekistan, a cultural excursion was held in July 2025 for faculty from Nukus State Technical University and Ajiniyaz Nukus State Pedagogical Institute.

Organized by the Institute of Advanced Training and Additional Education, the tour took 30 guests to two of Almaty's most iconic locations — Medeu and Shymbulak.

Participants were deeply impressed by the breathtaking mountain scenery and vibrant cultural atmosphere of the city. Many noted that the clean air, majestic peaks, and welcoming environment provided a refreshing break and lasting inspiration.

The guests expressed sincere gratitude to the organizers for the warm hospitality and well-planned itinerary. They emphasized how the excursion helped them see Kazakhstan from a new perspective and fostered stronger academic and personal ties.

This initiative not only introduced foreign participants to Kazakhstan’s cultural and natural richness, but also significantly strengthened educational and cross-cultural cooperation between the two nations.
