Cooperation as a Gateway to New Opportunities

In July 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the International Innovation University (Uzbekistan) held bilateral negotiations aimed at strengthening academic and institutional collaboration. Vice-Rector for International Relations, Science, and Innovation Sardor Nigmatzhonov visited the Institute for Advanced Training and Continuing Education at KazNU to discuss the future of cooperation.
During the meeting, Sardor Nigmatzhonov gave a comprehensive overview of the structure, activities, and academic partnerships of the International Innovation University, located in Qarshi — the administrative center of Qashqadaryo Region. He outlined specific areas for partnership and proposed the possibility of establishing a KazNU representation or implementing joint educational programs in Uzbekistan.
The meeting also covered academic mobility, joint research initiatives, development of digital education technologies, and the potential for dual degree programs.
These talks pave the way for deeper educational integration between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, fostering a shared scientific space and the development of internationally competitive specialists.
