KazNU is the best multidisciplinary university in Kazakhstan according to IQAA Ranking 2025

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has once again confirmed its status as the country's leading educational institution. According to the results of the institutional rating of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA Ranking), KazNU took the first place among multidisciplinary universities in Kazakhstan in 2025.

The rating is based on a comprehensive assessment of various aspects of the university's work. KazNU has demonstrated high results in all key areas, including academic activities, graduate employment, expert assessments of the academic community, reputation among employers, as well as the opinion of students and graduates. This confirms the high level of educational programs, scientific research and the successful integration of graduates into the professional environment.

This year, 30 higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan participated in the ranking. The survey involved 865 employers, 340 academic experts, 12 871 students and 2 802 graduates.

The IQAA Ranking results allow universities to objectively assess their level of competitiveness, identify areas for further development and strengthen their positions in both the national and international educational space.
