The Rector of KazNU received the delegation of the Hebei Academy of Arts and Design

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with a delegation from the Hebei Academy of Art and Design of the People's Republic of China. The parties expressed interest in expanding interuniversity partnership in the field of education and culture.

First, the guests visited the KazNU Museum, immersed themselves in the history and achievements of the university.

In his speech, the head of the educational institution, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, noted the importance of cultural and educational ties between Kazakhstan and China. "Cooperation between China and Kazakhstan has been developing at an accelerated pace in recent years. Our university maintains close ties with leading educational institutions in China and actively participates in many educational, scientific and cultural projects. I hope that we will take advantage of the opportunity to cooperate with the Hebei Academy of Art and Design and achieve new successes in the field of education and culture".- Zhanseit Tuimebayev said.

KazNU currently cooperates with 65 leading universities in China. This list includes internationally renowned educational institutions such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai University of Foreign Languages, Shanghai University of Politics and Law, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Beijing University of Foreign Languages, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Lanzhou University. Joint educational programs, research work and academic exchange are being implemented with these universities. He also focused on the activities and high performance of the leading university in Kazakhstan. KazNU was ranked among the 200 best universities in the world in the international QS WUR 2026 ranking. This year, the university took the 166th place.

Zhang Guangjun, Rector of the Hebei Academy of Arts and Design, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and said that he intends to establish a long-term partnership with KazNU.

Then the parties discussed the directions of cooperation development and exchanged views. Among the priority areas, issues of implementing joint educational programs, organizing the exchange of teachers and students, as well as joint cultural and scientific events were considered.
