Professors from Nukus State Technical University Visit the Al-Farabi Library

As part of an educational exchange program initiated by the Institute of Advanced Training and Continuing Education at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, professors from Nukus State Technical University participated in a guided tour of the university’s cultural and scientific landmarks. This visit aimed to introduce the guests to the academic infrastructure and promote international academic collaboration.
A highlight of the tour was the Al-Farabi Library — a renowned intellectual hub and a symbol of KazNU’s commitment to academic excellence. Recognized as one of the largest university libraries in Kazakhstan, the facility offers a blend of traditional knowledge resources and state-of-the-art digital solutions.
During the visit, the guests explored the library’s layout, including its extensive book collections, rare manuscripts, and modern reading halls equipped for both individual and collaborative learning. They were also introduced to the library’s digital platforms, access to global scientific databases, and innovative technologies supporting scholarly research.
The visiting professors expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering professional development and strengthening academic ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
