Young researchers improve their qualifications

26 june, 2025

On June 26, 2025, a seminar titled “Modern Analytical Equipment: From Educational Laboratories to Scientific Discoveries” was held at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology in the conference hall named after Academician Y. Ergozhin.

Organizer: ProLabSupport – the official distributor and service provider of laboratory equipment from Agilent Technologies (USA), Malvern Panalytical (UK), Metrohm (Switzerland), LNI Swissgas (Switzerland), and Elga LabWater (UK) in Kazakhstan.

Young researchers of the faculty, including PhD students and scientific staff working on the project AP23486503 under the supervision of Dr. Sc. Tech., Professor A.K. Baeshova, participated in the seminar and received certificates. The participants greatly enjoyed the informative lectures delivered by Gauhar Akhmetzhan – Cell Analysis Department Manager, and Alexander Yakunin – Head of the Chromatography Department.

They gained new knowledge and broadened their understanding of physicochemical research methods, including the analysis of unknown samples using Raman spectrometry with the MIRA XTR analyzer (Metrohm). Acknowledging the importance of physicochemical studies as an essential part of conducting modern scientific research, on behalf of the participants and staff of the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry, we express our gratitude to the seminar organizers.

Researcher of project AP23486503 and PhD student of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, M.N. Turlybekova, with lecturer A. Yakunin.

PhD student of the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry, F.M. Zhumabay, with lecturer A. Yakunin.
