KazNU students successfully completed internship at the Institute of Physics and Technology. SDG4. Quality Education

Students of the Department of Solid State Physics and New Materials Technology at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, enrolled in the "6B07105 – Materials Science and New Materials Technology" educational program, successfully completed their internship at one of Kazakhstan's leading research institutions — the Institute of Physics and Technology. Established in 1990 by a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR, the institute is now a major center for both fundamental and applied research in physics. During the internship, the students learned about the institute's history, key scientific directions, modern laboratories, and advanced research equipment. Particular attention was paid to research projects on solid-state physics, radiation-induced modification of materials, and advanced diagnostic methods. Such internships enhance students' professional competencies and foster collaboration between the university and leading research organizations.
