The Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology awarded diplomas to graduates of 2025

This year, the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University celebrated the graduation of 418 specialists, including 284 bachelor’s and 134 master’s degree holders. The official graduation ceremony took place on July 3, 2025, at the modern Farabi Hub venue. Located in the KazNUgrad area, Farabi Hub is an innovative space inaugurated in September 2024, combining coworking zones, a conference hall, and a creative hub for students and researchers.

The event brought together graduates, faculty members, scholars, representatives of the biological sector, and the families of the graduates. The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Meruert Sakenovna Kurmanbayeva, a Doctor of Biological Sciences, delivered a warm congratulatory speech. She extended her heartfelt congratulations to both graduates and the teaching staff on the successful completion of the academic year, wishing everyone professional success and new achievements. In a festive atmosphere, she handed out diplomas to bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates.

The ceremony was thoughtfully organized, featuring photo zones with banners, LED screens, professional hosts, and a concert program. Thanks to the well-prepared plan by the faculty leadership and organizing committee, the event was held at a high level and became a truly memorable occasion.
