UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development Graduation Ceremony at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

On July 10, 2025, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a graduation ceremony for students of the specialties “6B05202 – Ecology,” “6B05201 – Geoecology,” “6B11202 – Environmental Engineering,” and “6B11201 – Environmental Protection and Life Safety,” prepared under the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development.

The event was attended by the Member of the Board – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Alina Kulbaevna Galiyeva, who awarded “Diplomas with Distinction” to the most outstanding graduates.

The Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences Aliya Sagyndykovna Aktymbayeva, delivered a congratulatory speech and personally presented diplomas to the graduates.

In addition, the Director of Strategic Management of “EKOSERVIS-S” LLP, Seilkhan Akkazinovich Askarov, presented diplomas to graduates of the “Ecology” and “Geoecology” programs. The Head of the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development, Candidate of Geographical Sciences Tursynkul Amankeldievna Bazarbayeva, awarded diplomas to graduates of the “Environmental Engineering” and “Environmental Protection and Life Safety” programs.

The ceremony became a moment of great pride and joy for the graduates, their teachers, and families. Warm wishes for future success and professional achievements were expressed throughout the event.
