KAZNU BOXER BECAME THE SILVER MEDALIST

Adilet Tortubek, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, won a silver medal and took second place in the weight category up to 60 kg at the Asian Youth Championship (U19), which was held in Bangkok (Thailand).

The international boxing tournament, which took place from July 30 to August 11, 2025, was attended by 396 boxers (237 men and 159 women) from 25 countries.

The national team of Kazakhstan took the second place in the team competition.
