The Ministers of the two countries met with the staff of the branch

As part of the official visit of the Ministers of Higher Education of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to the branch of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Bishkek, a meeting was held with the faculty and students.

The event was attended by: Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Chairman Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Margulan Ibraimov, Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakhtiyar Orozov and Deputy Minister Nurlan Omurov, Director of the branch of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Bishkek Zhamin Sheishenov, representatives of the faculty and students of the branch.

At the meeting, Margulan Ibrayimov and Zhamin Sheyshenov spoke in detail about the activities of the educational institution, noting: "Our branch not only provides high-quality education, but also strives to enter the international educational community". They emphasized the importance of interstate cooperation in the field of science and education for the development of educational standards and improving the quality of specialist training. After the presentation, an active dialogue with the participants took place, in which both teachers and students took part. The students were interested in employment prospects after graduation and the possibilities of additional education. To this, the Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakhtiyar Orozov replied: "It is important that our graduates are competitive in the labor market. We are working on the implementation of new educational standards that meet modern requirements".

During the meeting, issues of modernizing the educational process and introducing new technologies into educational programs were also discussed. The teachers shared their ideas on creating interdisciplinary projects and scientific research.

At the end of the meeting, the ministers left warm wishes in the branch's book of honor.
