514 DOCTORAL STUDENTS WERE ADMITTED TO THE KAZNU

For the 2025-2026 academic year, the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has allocated 638 educational grants to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 88 of which are targeted. Additionally, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan provided 4 grants.

From July 3 to August 3, 2025, the university's admissions committee received 822 applications for participation in the doctoral entrance exams. The geography of applicants covers all regions of Kazakhstan, which confirms the university's high reputation.

According to the results of the exams and in accordance with the Standard Admission Rules (approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 600 dated October 31, 2018), 514 applicants were recommended for admission.

Thus, 514 applicants were awarded educational grants, 64 of them targeted. These specialists will be trained in the priority areas of science, economics, engineering and social sciences, contributing to the development of the country.
