KAZNU STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

Deputy Chairman of the Board - First Vice–Rector Erkin Duisenov met with Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Tawfiq bin Fawzan bin Muhammad Al-Rabia at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During the meeting, Vice Rector Erkin Duisenov, expressing gratitude to the Minister for the visit, stressed the importance of developing a strategic partnership with leading institutions in Saudi Arabia. He also introduced the guest to the international and educational activities of the university.

"KazNU is actively developing international relations, and cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will help strengthen mutual understanding, exchange knowledge and cultural values",- said the first Vice–rector.

During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, science, academic exchange and spiritual and moral education of young people. Special attention was paid to the organization of joint educational and cultural programs, scientific research, as well as the implementation of initiatives aimed at the development of Islamic culture, science and ethics.

In turn, Tawfiq bin Fawzan bin Muhammad Al-Rabia expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and highly appreciated the academic and scientific potential of KazNU. "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to the development of humanitarian and scientific ties. We are pleased to establish a partnership with one of the leading universities in Central Asia, Al–Farabi Kazakh National University",- the Minister stressed.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for the practical implementation of joint projects, including student exchange programs, joint conferences and the development of research cooperation.
