A series of lectures by Dr. PhD Gunel Garaeva from the Azerbaijan University of Languages within the framework of the «Orkhun» academic exchange program

From September 1 to 5, the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a series of lectures by Dr. PhD Gunel Garaeva from the Azerbaijan University of Languages within the framework of the «Orkhun» academic exchange program.

The Dean of the Faculty B. Meirbayev, together with the Head of the Department of Philosophy A. Kuranbek, and the Head of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies A. Kurmanaliyeva, held a meeting with the invited lecturer. During the discussion, the activities of the faculty were presented, and the importance of strengthening friendly and brotherly relations with Azerbaijan and its academic community was emphasized, which is of particular significance for the Turkic peoples.

Throughout the week, Dr. Gunel Garaeva delivered open lectures for students of the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies. The lectures aroused great interest and became a valuable experience for the students. The youth actively asked questions and took part in discussions, noting the informative and inspiring character of the lectures.

At the end of the lecture course, on behalf of the Faculty, Dr. Gunel Garaeva was awarded a certificate as a sign of gratitude for her fruitful cooperation.
