SDG 4:Response to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s annual Address to the Nation

In his current traditional Address, President Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev raised a multitude of critically important issues concerning the development of our country.
In an era beset with political and economic contradictions, the central theme of the entire Address was the question of how to preserve and develop Kazakhstan. In particular, he placed special emphasis on further developing the country’s transit potential and achieving full self-sufficiency in agricultural products. He also underscored the necessity of comprehensive state-wide digitalization.
Wide-scale integration of artificial intelligence and its everyday application is an urgent societal necessity. In this context, the development of an educational program for mastering artificial intelligence and its expedited integration into the educational process is required.
The greatest wealth of our society lies in our highly skilled, educated human resources. Substantial financial investments are being allocated to train specialists with higher education, foster scientific development, and strengthen the linkage between science and industry. It is especially important to train technical specialists and ensure that they work in their respective fields.
The President’s Address was received with great enthusiasm. It is important to note that it was delivered entirely in clear Kazakh. I am confident that the faculty and students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology will eagerly support and participate in the realization of the outlined objectives.
