Huawei ICT Competition 2025–2026 Roadshow Held at KazNU. SDG 4 and SDG 9
On September 9, 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the annual roadshow of the international Huawei ICT Competition 2025–2026. The event took place in the Red Hall of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, bringing together students and faculty members.
During the meeting, representatives of Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan and the Huawei Academy at KazNU provided comprehensive information about the competition’s key tracks, participation rules, and career opportunities for young specialists. Participants were introduced to the main focus areas: network technologies, cloud services and computing, programming, and innovation.
International scale of the competition
Huawei ICT Competition is one of the largest international educational initiatives in the field of information and communication technologies:

annually it brings together over 960,000 students from more than 100 countries worldwide;

teams from Kazakhstan consistently demonstrate high achievements, reaching the global finals and winning prizes.
