Students and Faculty Members of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Took Part in the Information Campaign by ITeachMe and the Center for Commercialization of Technologies and Creative Industries. SDG 4 and SDG 9
On 10 September 2025, in room 305 of the Faculty of Law, an information campaign was held, organized by the Public Foundation ITeachMe in cooperation with the Center for Commercialization of Technologies and Creative Industries of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The event aimed to involve students in innovative and inclusive technological projects. Students and faculty members of the Faculty of Physics and Technology took part in the campaign, showing great interest in the opportunities presented.
During the meeting, participants received detailed information about the ITMLab project, which combines hackathon and incubator formats. The project provides students with an opportunity to apply for grants of 600,000 KZT to implement their own ideas.
Furthermore, participation in the campaign opens new prospects for students and young researchers, including expanding professional networks, presenting initiatives at the national level, and becoming actively involved in the university’s innovation ecosystem.
Connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
-
SDG 4 – Quality Education: developing students’ practical skills in applying knowledge and encouraging their research activity.
-
SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure: supporting projects aimed at the development of technological entrepreneurship and an innovative economy.
Thus, the participation of students and faculty members of the Faculty of Physics and Technology in the information campaign became an important step in strengthening the university’s innovation potential and expanding opportunities for youth.
