Summer School at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics

The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University provided Ayauym Alkeeva, a student of the European University of Lefke (Cyprus), with a unique opportunity to participate in a 10-day (80-hour) summer school in the laboratory of Professor A.K. Bissenbaev from September 4 to 17, 2025.

As part of the program, Ayauym mastered modern methods of molecular biology and genetics. In particular, she gained experience in nucleic acid and protein electrophoresis, protein purification techniques, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), as well as the basics of working with cell cultures. The knowledge and practical skills she acquired made a significant contribution to her academic and professional development.

For Ayauym Alkeeva, participation in the summer school was an unforgettable experience that deepened her scientific interests and strengthened her commitment to further growth in research.
