KazNU as a Platform for Discussing ESG and the Future of Regions

On September 25, 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty) hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Triune ESG Concept for Sustainable Regional Development.”

The event was organized within the framework of a joint project with universities of Kazakhstan and the University of Massachusetts (USA). During the conference, research findings were presented, and discussions were held on the prospects of business commitment to ESG principles and their impact on sustainable regional development.

Scholars from Kazakhstan, the USA, Portugal, the UK, Russia, Spain, Poland, Lithuania, and Belarus participated in the forum. The highlight of the conference was the presentation of a monograph and a collection of research papers.

The conference was held in a hybrid format — offline and online (via Zoom).
