A course for students from India was held

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a three-day educational course for more than 50 students from the Indian GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS).

The program was prepared by Farabi International Business School (FIBS) and included lectures by Kazakhstani teachers, as well as a guest appearance by a professor from India.

Recall that on February 6, 2025, the signing ceremony of the memorandum of cooperation between KazNU and GIMS took place. The parties agreed to develop the exchange of students and teachers, as well as to implement joint scientific and educational initiatives. The course in Almaty was the result of this collaboration and included lectures in English on current topics.

A special event of the program was a lecture by Professor Ruchi Rayat from GIMS on the topic of Leading Downward: Leading Behaviors and Leadership Styles, held in the KazNU conference hall. The presentation gave the participants the opportunity to get acquainted with modern approaches to leadership and intercultural management.

At the end of the course, the participants and members of the GIMS delegation were awarded certificates. The guests from India visited the KazNU campus and museum, got acquainted with the national traditions of Kazakhstan.

This visit also marked the beginning of KazNU's cooperation with the international company Value Adz, which works with leading universities in the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malta, Malaysia and other countries.
