October 1 – Higher Education Workers’ Day in the Republic of Kazakhstan

October 1 is celebrated nationwide as the Day of Higher Education Workers—an occasion to honor the dedication of faculty and researchers who provide quality education, nurture future generations, and advance science.

To mark the occasion, the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a festive gathering. During the event, heartfelt appreciation was expressed to lecturers and staff, with special recognition of their contributions to teaching and research. The faculty community extended warm wishes and gratitude to educators for their tireless efforts in mentoring students.

The celebration was organized by the Department of Botany and Agroecology. Greetings and kind words prepared by faculty members and students created a welcoming, festive atmosphere and brought joy to all participants.
