October 1 – Higher Education Workers’ Day in the Republic of Kazakhstan

October 1 is celebrated nationwide as the Day of Higher Education Workers—an occasion to honor the dedication of faculty and researchers who provide quality education, nurture future generations, and advance science.

On this occasion, a festive event was held at the Department of Botany and Agroecology of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the event, lecturers and staff were thanked, and their contributions to teaching and research were especially recognized. The faculty team conveyed warm wishes to the teachers and expressed gratitude for their dedicated work in educating students.

The celebration was organized by the Department of Botany and Agroecology. Greetings and kind words prepared by faculty members and students created a welcoming, festive atmosphere and brought joy to all participants.
