“The foundation of national spirit is the national language”

On September 10, 2025, in auditorium 301 of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, an open lesson dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan was held under the theme “The foundation of national spirit is the national language”

The event was organized by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Zoology, Histology, and Cytology, Aizhan Amirzhanqyzy Konysbayeva, together with students of groups 25-13 and 25-14 of the 6В05301- Biology educational program.

During the open lesson, participants discussed the role of every citizen in preserving and developing the language, the richness of Kazakhstan’s multicultural and multilingual heritage, as well as the interrelation between language and biological science. A particularly meaningful idea was that “Language is our spiritual DNA, a genetic code that defines our quality as a nation.”

The event took place with the active participation of the department’s lecturers. This meeting aimed to foster interest in cultural heritage, as well as to highlight the independence and significance of both science and language.
