“Clean Environment – A Guarantee of Sustainable Development”

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Department of Zoology, Histology and Cytology. First-year students (groups 25-03, 25-04) took an active part in the intercity clean-up event. The main goal of the event was to raise awareness for environmental protection, to promote the culture of maintaining a clean environment, and to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During the clean-up, students participated in cleaning the territory and improving green areas. Such activities contribute to the growth of civic engagement among young people and foster a responsible attitude towards ecology .This experience not only demonstrates the students’ care for nature but also confirms their active participation in public life.
