First-year students were accepted into the ranks of students with the participation of AI at KazNU

The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a traditional student initiation celebration. This year's evening was organized in an unusual format, the dedication ceremony for 1st year students was held with the participation of artificial intelligence.

The solemn event was attended by: Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KazNU Kairat Mami, Chairman of the Board-Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Deputy of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bibigul Zhexenbai, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty Jiang Wei and other famous people.

At the event, Minister Sayasat Nurbek congratulated the youth and wished them success in their studies.

"KazNU is not just an educational institution, but a center where personality is formed, qualified specialists are trained, science and innovation are developing. Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted: "Young people should be patriotic, educated, hardworking, frugal, fair and responsive". KazNU plays an important role in educating young people who have absorbed the qualities that the President spoke about. The university not only provides theoretical knowledge, but also conducts large–scale work on the formation of students as responsible, competitive specialists with clear principles of life",- the minister said.

Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev also addressed the students of the new generation with a welcoming speech and dwelled on the results of the work carried out at the educational institution for their benefit. "Do not forget the well-known wisdom of the great scientist and philosopher al-Farabi: "If you want to succeed in business, become a master in it," said the rector. "I hope that you will become educated students, qualified specialists, and personalities"

In total, 11,530 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students have been accepted to KazNU in the new academic year. Among the young people enrolled in bachelor's degree, there are 116 holders of the Altyn Belgi badge and 27 winners of international Olympiads. This year, more than 2,500 international students have chosen the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Also, for the first time, students studying at KazNU branches performed at the evening.

The festive evening continued with a concert with the participation of Kazakhstani pop stars and ended with a youth dance evening.
