At the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a personality lecture was held with the participation of experienced journalist, graduate of the faculty, and Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bibigul Nurgaliyevna Zheksenbai. The event took place in Auditorium 220, named after Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The moderator of the meeting was the Dean of the Faculty, Kanat Auesbai.

During the meeting with top students majoring in Journalism, Cinema and Media, Media Communications, and Publishing, Bibigul Nurgaliyevna began her speech with the words: “Dear sisters, future colleagues!” — as she herself once studied at this very faculty and fondly recalled her student years.

She attentively answered each question posed by the students and shared her professional journey and experience working at the "Khabar" TV channel. “A journalist must, above all, be fair, truthful, and responsible. They must feel their duty to society and deliver accurate and verified information. Most importantly, a journalist must be a bearer of honest words and live up to the people's trust,” she emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, she took commemorative photos with the students, toured the faculty, and participated in the opening of the newly renovated M. Barmankulov TV studio, where she also gave an interview.
