Sustainable Development Goals of Kazakhstan: Current Status and Prospects

As part of the implementation of SDG 1: "No poverty", SDG 4: "Quality education", SDG 8: "Decent work and economic growth", SDG 10: "Reduced inequalities", SDG 11: "Sustainable cities and communities" and SDG 17: "Partnership for sustainable development" on October 14, 2025, the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, together with research scientists from the L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and the East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov, held a Republican scientific seminar on the topic "Sustainable Development Goals of Kazakhstan: Current Status and Prospects".

The Republican scientific seminar was opened with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, and Acting Professor Zh.Zh. Ermekova. The national scientific seminar addressed issues related to the implementation of Kazakhstan's sustainable development goals, including issues such as human capital development and quality of life in Kazakhstan. The seminar was very interesting and useful for all participants.
