A meeting was held at al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a delegation from the Academy of Information and Communication Technologies of China (CAICT) and representatives of Coremail.
The meeting was organized with the aim of developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of digital transformation, artificial intelligence and cloud computing, as well as strengthening advanced ties in the field of information and communication technologies between Kazakhstan and China.
At the meeting, Margulan Ibraimov, a member of the University's Board, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, presented KazNU's advanced research in the field of artificial intelligence, digitalization of science and modern technologies.

The Chinese delegation was headed by Liu Ruei, Director of the CAICT Department for International Cooperation. The team included leading engineers and experts from the academy, Shao Jiangfeng, Liu Yuxiang, Zhang Yi, as well as Coremail CEO Chen Leihua, Vice President Wu Xiucheng, and Director of Partnerships Wu Yuan.

During the event, the Chinese Academy of Information and Communication Technologies presented information about its activities and the main areas of international cooperation, the SCO Big Data Center, the SCO Tree educational program aimed at training personnel in the digital economy, as well as Lunke's innovative technologies.

The parties also discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between universities in the development of computing capacities, cloud technologies and digital services.
