Open Class “October 25 – Republic Day”. SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 16 “Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.”

On October 23, 2025, at 15:00, in room 418 of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, an open class dedicated to “October 25 – Republic Day” was conducted by second-year students of the 6B05306 – Physics and Astronomy program. The event was coordinated by A. Zh. Akniyazova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electronics and Astrophysics.

The purpose of the event was to deepen students’ understanding of spirituality and patriotism, emphasize the historical and cultural importance of Republic Day, and cultivate critical and analytical thinking.

The open class consisted of four main parts:

1. Presentation explaining the meaning and history of Republic Day.

2. English-language reports on “Scientific Achievements in the New Kazakhstan.”

3. Debate on “The Benefits and Risks of Artificial Intelligence.”

4. Final reflection and creation of an action plan to promote spiritual values among youth.

The event included a video presentation, slides, national symbols, portraits of historical figures, and excerpts from the “Rukhani Zhangyru” program.

This activity supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals – SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
