A lesson of courage dedicated to Republic Day
One of the final stages of the patriotic campaign "My Kazakhstan!", conducted by the military Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in commemoration of Republic Day, was a lesson of courage "Your heroes, Kazakhstan!" with students at the branch of the State Military Historical Museum of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty.
Before the lesson, the museum staff conducted a meaningful tour of the renovated halls and the exhibition of military equipment. The students listened with interest to the story and examined the expositions, discovering new pages of the history of the country and the military traditions of the people. The future defenders of the Motherland got acquainted with samples of weapons, military equipment, and awards from the Second World War. The museum pays special attention to materials about the 316th Infantry Division named after I. Panfilov, formed in Alma Ata in the summer of 1941. The students were also told about the period of the war in Afghanistan, which contains a list of Kazakhstanis who died in that war.

During the Lesson of Courage, the director of the museum branch, the granddaughter of General Panfilov, Alua Baykadamova, told the students about Kazakhstan's contribution to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the role of the legendary Panfilov division in the Battle of Moscow. She expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Military Department for their active military-patriotic activities and congratulated the students on the upcoming national holiday – Republic Day.
"You are the future of our country! Be worthy of the great deeds of our ancestors", - Alua Baykadamova emphasized.

"We really enjoyed the museum. The expositions are impressive. This is the memory of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten. All that remains is pride and gratitude to all those who survived that difficult time. The sense of patriotism has increased greatly", - Arsen Beibit, a student of the military department, shared his impressions.
