The Military Department of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a student lecture hall "My Kazakhstan!" for high school students of Gymnasium №97 in Almaty.
The event was organized as part of the patriotic campaign «Менің Қазақстаным», dedicated to the celebration of the national holiday – Republic Day.
The lecture hall consisted of two stages. At the first stage, an interactive presentation "My Kazakhstan!" was held, dedicated to the Republic Day. During the presentation, key historical events that played an important role in the formation and development of Kazakhstan were presented: from the formation of the Kazakh Khanate to the present.
The second stage included a historical quiz dedicated to the national holiday. The students showed good knowledge of the history of the formation of independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Following the results of the event, distinguished participants were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts on behalf of the head of the military department of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Reserve Colonel O.V.Azhimov.
Gulnar Tazhibayeva, Director of Gymnasium №97, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the military department and noted the importance of further cooperation in the military-patriotic education of school and student youth.
