Round table: «October 25 – Republic Day»

On October 24, 2025, the Department of Economics held an event dedicated to the National Holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan - “October 25 - Republic Day”. During the round table, the significance of this holiday as a symbol of independence, unity and sustainable development of the country was discussed. The participants noted Kazakhstan’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular, SDG 4 “Quality Education”, SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth”, SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities”. The event was attended by undergraduate students of the specialty “7M04102 - Economics”, 3rd and 1st year students of the specialty “6B04109 - Digital Economy”. During the round table, topics on the production sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the quality of education, the “Digital Kazakhstan” program, the quality of life, and the state of the country’s economy were discussed. The national holiday has a great impact on the peaceful and high-quality life of the country, strengthening tolerance in the country and creating a just society.
During the event, students and teachers discussed the country's historical path, its achievements in the international arena, and the importance of preserving national values for future generations. The unity and solidarity of the people in building a sustainable future were considered an important factor in national development.
