Charity Event in Support of the Sustainable Development Goals

As part of the research practice, a charity event was organized to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The event was coordinated by Research Practice Supervisor — Assoc. Prof. M. R. Baltymova (PhD in Philology) and National Supervisor — Assoc. Prof. B. B. Meirbayev (PhD in Philosophy), together with T. B. Bokesh, a 2nd-year PhD student in Cultural Studies.

Focusing on the SDGs of No Poverty, Zero Hunger, and Quality Education, a special art-therapy session and creative master class were held on October 22, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the “Muzbalaq” Public Association of People with Disabilities in Almaty.

During the event, children with visual impairments, autism, and cerebral palsy participated in an art-therapy workshop and received gifts. Additionally, parents were introduced to academic programs offered at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, including Religious Studies, Cultural Studies, and Islamic Studies.
