Abiba Abuzhakynova, an athlete-judoka, silver medalist of the World Championship in Budapest, was awarded a diploma at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The famous athlete graduated from kaznu and received a second higher education at the Faculty of law in the specialty "law enforcement".
During the ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates of kaznu, Abiba Abuzhakynova expressed her sincere gratitude to the teachers for their contribution and support in improving their education. "Within the walls of the University, in addition to the second higher education, I received an important life lesson. Here I was taught discipline, honesty and perseverance to achieve the goal. These qualities help me move forward and overcome any difficulties. Currently, I am preparing for admission to the master's program in order to continue my professional development and get higher education", - Abiba Abuzhakynova said.
Abiba is the first Kazakh judoka to reach the podium of the world championship three times. According to the results of the world ranking of judokas in 2023, the athlete entered the top five best judokas in the world.
In 2023, Abiba became the winner of the tournament from the Grand Prix Series in Portugal. Thus, having won a prestigious tournament, the athlete became the first representative of Kazakhstan in judo. In the spring of 2024, at the pre-Olympic World Championships in the United Arab Emirates, he again won a bronze medal, defeating an athlete from Turkey Tukseh Beider in the fight for third place.
